You are invited to submit a dream for the opportunity to have it chosen and interpreted for free, through the online monthly dream interpretation group on Kat at Night. You are also welcome to offer your interpretation of other dreams.
A new dream will be displayed every month, one week following the New Moon. Please see below for a list of dates. The dream will be open for interpretations, for 3 days, and then the dreamer will have the opportunity to respond to comments and say what the dream means for her/him.
The Jeremy Taylor method of dreamwork will be used, which entails that you preface your interpretation by stating, “If this were my dream…” Please keep in mind that the Dreamer is a real person, and that s/he is being vulnerable in sharing her/his dream with you. Sharing a dream is a sacred offering.
By stating “If this were my dream…” before you say what comes up for you around the dream, you are taking ownership of your Truth. There is Truth in what each person says, but the Dreamer has the final say in what her/his dream means.
Plus, by stating “If this were my dream…,” you will be better able to grasp what the dream really means for you. Even if the dream shared is not your dream, you can learn something from it. Dreams come from a place where we are all united as One.
All comments will be moderated by Kat at Night. Thus, they will not be posted immediately. Also, if you do not follow the “If this were my dream…” format, or if Kat at Night deems your comment as inappropriate, Kat at Night reserves the right to not post your comment. Thank you for honoring and respecting the Dreamer and her/his Dream, and for helping to make this a positive and meaningful experience for everyone!
Kat at Night follows the International Association for the Study of Dreams ethical guidelines. All viewpoints are honored, yet the dreamwork is not a substitute for psychotherapy, or other professional treatment, and should not be used as such. Furthermore, the Dreamer has the power to discontinue the sharing of her/his dream, at anytime. By submitting a dream to be interpreted, however, the dreamer is agreeing to take responsibility for sharing her/his dream and the issues that may arise from sharing of it. Kat at Night reserves the right to discontinue the free monthly dream interpretation group at anytime.
If you would like to share a dream, please complete the Dream Submission Form. Please note that your dream may not be used for the free monthly dream interpretation group, and that Kat at Night reserves the right to post only a portion of your dream. Also, dreams that are not used one month may be used another month. All dreams submitted will only be used for the purpose of the free monthly dream interpretation group.
